Thank You for Year to Volunteer’s Success

Year to Volunteer is Volunteer Odyssey’s response to the National Civil Rights Museum call to action of “Where do we go from here?”

We launched a year long initiative to mobilize and foster a lasting culture of volunteerism in Memphis and surrounding areas with the goal to engage 10,000 volunteers, generate 85,000 hours of service and foster over $2 million in economic impact.

We also hosted a day of service – Service Challenge – on October 20th and had over 200 Memphians participate in a wonderful day of volunteerism!

Due to the commitment of individuals and incredible Memphis organizations, we smashed our goals and ended with 87, 567 volunteer hours that equals to $2,226,822 in economic impact back to the city of Memphis!
