The Volunteer Odyssey Platform is the tool we use to connect volunteers in Memphis. It allows volunteers to discover opportunities and provides nonprofits a way to recruit, track, and manage their volunteers.

We provide you with free software, the Volunteer Odyssey Platform to recruit, track, and manage volunteers. We promote your volunteer opportunities through our partners including I Love Memphis (ex: 10 Ways to Love Memphis this Month), cityCURRENT, and High Ground News. You’re also eligible to participate in opportunities like our Pop Up Volunteer Parties and to be featured at events like Amplify Memphis.

We work with registered 501(c)3 organizations in the Memphis area who meet our quality standards. Our nonprofits agree to provide high quality volunteer experiences and respond to volunteers promptly.

Below are the steps to complete in order to become an approved partner:

1. Attend a monthly orientation (for upcoming dates email dannon@volunteerodyssey.com)
2. Complete paperwork (Fill out form + Sign Memorandum of Understanding)
3. Schedule a site visit and training meeting with Volunteer Odyssey staff
4. Together we will decide if the partnership is mutually beneficial

Great news – being a Volunteer Odyssey partner is free to nonprofits! Our partners “pay” for the platform is by providing high quality volunteer experiences and being a good steward of our volunteers.
