What are some lessons that you’ve learned from volunteering in Memphis?

While volunteering in Memphis I have been constantly reminded that not everyone is like me. Despite the fact that we are all in the same city living within miles of one another, we all face different financial struggles, home situations, etc. We never know what other people are going through until we branch out to people outside of our family members and our school friends and one way to do so is through volunteering.

What would you say to someone who is thinking of signing up to volunteer through Volunteer Odyssey?

To anyone who is thinking of signing up with Volunteer Odyssey, it is the right place for you. Volunteer Odyssey is very organized and has a variety of places that would love to have you volunteer with them. It consists of so many great opportunities that will help to shape you and those who you are volunteering with.
